IG Unfollow Bot is a Chrome extension designed to help users automate the process of unfollowing accounts on Instagram based on a user-provided list. Privacy and security are at the core of our tool.

2. Data Processing (100% Client-Side)

The extension operates entirely within your browser. We do not have a server, and we do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, Instagram credentials, or browsing history to any third party.

3. Data We Access

• URL Lists: The Instagram profile URLs you paste into the extension are processed locally to navigate and perform actions.
• Local Storage: We use chrome.storage.local to save your settings (like delay timers) and the progress of your current run so you can resume later.

4. Permissions Justification

• storage: Used to save progress and settings locally.
• host_permissions (*://*.instagram.com/*): Required to interact with Instagram pages to automate the 'unfollow' button clicks on your behalf.

5. No Data Sharing

Since no data is collected, no data is sold, shared, or traded with third parties, advertisers, or any other entities.

6. User Control

All data managed by the extension stays on your device. You can clear all logs and saved data by using the 'Reset' button within the extension or by uninstalling the extension.

7. Compliance

Users are responsible for complying with Instagram's Terms of Service and any applicable local laws while using this automation tool.
